Get VOLY

approved.

All volunteers on an LISD campus must complete and pass a criminal-history background check before volunteering. Approval is valid for one school year, so everyone must reapply annually.

Create or log in to your VOLY account

Visit the LISD VOLY website and sign in using your email address.

Complete your annual application

Open My Applications, select General Volunteer, choose Lamar Middle School, and complete all required pages.

Submit the background-check form

Provide consent, select the requested identification document, and submit. Watch your email for confirmation and your approval status.

Before you sign up

Renew every year

VOLY approval lasts for one school year. A new application is required annually.

Plan ahead

Approval may take two to three weeks, especially during busy back-to-school periods.

Wait for approval

You must receive approval before volunteering on campus or at school events.

Everyone is welcome

Parents, guardians, grandparents, and community members can help. PTA membership is not required.
